Consultative Seminar on Progress Made in the FMD and PPR Regional Roadmap for East Mediterranean Countries

Under the Patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abbas Hajj Hassan, Minister of Agriculture.

The GF-TADs Consultative Seminar on Progress Made in the FMD and PPR Regional Roadmap for East Mediterranean Countries Meeting will be held in Beirut– Lebanon, from 11 to 13 September 2022.

The 3-day meeting will be attended by participants from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Sudan, and Syria as well as representatives from Regional and International Organisations (WOAH, AOAD, Eu-FMD, and FAO).

During the meeting, the participants will identify the challenges facing the countries in the implementation of the roadmaps, the proposal of appropriate solutions to resolve these challenges, and how the countries can move forward for the next stage using the FAO/WOAH guidelines including surveillance and diagnostic tool.
