Header

The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) will be a primary key during the third High-Level Ministerial Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), which will be held in the Sultanate of Oman this year between 24 and 25 November. This meeting will aim to advance the fight against AMR at the local, regional, and worldwide levels and to strengthen international cooperation. This conference will be built upon the two previous High-Level Ministerial Conferences, conducted in the Netherlands in 2014 and 2019. Ministers of Health, Agriculture, Animal health, the Environment, and Finance, as well as Policymakers, Prominent International Experts, and Representatives of the Corporate Sector, Civil Society, Research Institutes, and Multilateral Organisations, will participate at a high level. Keynote addresses, case studies illustrating best practices, and interactive sessions between attendees will all be used to conduct the conference. The conference will be an opportunity for an interactive dialogue on One Health’s action to address the AMR pandemic.
