the 16th conference of the OIE regional commission

The 16^th conference of the regional commission for the Middle East was held virtually (via Zoom) on 3-4 November 2021. A total of 84 participants from 17 Members of the region, and 12 international and regional organisations and agencies joined the meeting. The Conference started with welcoming messages from the President of the OIE Regional Commission, the president of the OIE Assembly of Delegates, and the OIE Director-General. Additionally, three honourable Ministers from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Jordan, and the Republic of Lebanon also address a message to the participates as well as the Director-General of the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development (AOAD).
