A series of webinars on important camel diseases was organised by SRRAG in coordination with the Camel Middle East Network (CAMENET) in order to enhance the scientific capacity and technical knowledge of the concerned staff. During 2024 and early 2025, a total of 6 webinars that cover the most significant camel diseases that afflict camel species in the subregions will include Camel Brucellosis, Camel significant endo-ecto-parasitism, Camel pox, Camel Trypanosomiasis MERS-Cov and Camel calf diarrhetic diseases. It was observed that a substantial number of practitioners from the region attended the webinars and that very fruitful discussions as well as knowledge and expertise sharing interactions were witnessed, which will contribute to the enhancement of the development of the camel sector in the region as a whole.
