In line with WOAH strategic directions, SRRAG organised a series of awareness webinars on important camel diseases in coordination with the Camel Middle East Network (CAMENET), aiming to contribute to the concerned staff’s scientific capacity and technical knowledge enhancement. During 2024 and early 2025, a total of 6 webinars that cover the most significant camel disease that afflict camel species in the subregions include Camel Brucellosis, Camel significant endo& ecto- parasitism Camel pox, Camel Trypanosomiasis MERS-CoV and Camel calf diarrhetic diseases. The webinars were attended by a considerable number of practitioners from the region and witnessed a very fruitful discussion and knowledge and expertise sharing interactions that will contribute to augmenting the development of the camel sector in the entire region.
